I’m the planner and creative behind Hostess in Heels. What began as Gather in Indy Event Planning has grown into something more refined — a blend of professional event planning, curated entertaining, and elevated lifestyle inspiration. Oh, and I love wearing heels!
From the moment I could walk and talk, I have loved organizing and planning. I went on to major in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management as well as Minor in Business at Indiana University Bloomington. Go Hoosiers! With a background in corporate and social event planning, I’ve helped clients bring everything from large-scale gatherings to intimate celebrations to life. Now, through Hostess in Heels, I combine that same attention to detail and design with approachable, modern hosting techniques that help anyone feel confident creating beautiful moments.
Whether it’s a signature corporate dinner, a milestone celebration, or a well-styled dinner party, I believe every event deserves a touch of polish and personality — and that the best hosts always make it look easy.
My Passions
I was born and raised in Indiana with the spirit of Hoosier hospitality. My mom taught me how to be the hostess with the mostess! From the moment I set my first dinner table to the first event I planned I knew this was my calling. I am a food and cocktail enthusiast and love exploring new restaurants and bars with my husband, Silas in the Greater Indianapolis area. I’m drawn to things that never go out of style — the sound of Frank Sinatra, the ease of an old Hollywood cocktail party, the charm of Americana done right. My approach to planning and hosting blends that sense of nostalgia with modern polish — events that feel warm, intentional, and a little bit glamorous without ever trying too hard.
On any given night, you’ll find me with a spritz in hand, Sinatra playing in the background, and my husband by my side — setting the table just because and finding a reason to celebrate the everyday.

I have a twin brother who is an engineer (the complete opposite of me)
I love watching sports - football, basketball, golf, and the Indy 500!
I like reading, working out, and cooking
My favorite part about planning an event is the design work, seeing it all come together, watching the client and their guests have a blast!
